— It’s a force that will bully you away from success —

What happens if you find that ego has persuaded you into its arrogant thinking, and you want to turn things around so you can bring success TO you? Let’s first refresh our definition of ego’s arrogance:

“Arrogance is an attitude of superiority manifested in an overbearing or presumptuous manner.”

Ego will often have a tone of self-importance, plus a huge need to be right. We might also see the relentless duality of comparison thinking. And, of course, along with superiority also comes inferiority … just to keep us confused as ego fights to be right!

And… above all… ego will encourage us to push things away that we really, truly want. Especially success.

How arrogant is that?

So the frustration and pain we’re in and isn’t from the relationship or the career or the financial struggle… the pain we’re in is the arrogance of ego. It’s telling us that ITS way is better by creating indecision and overwhelm and even anger inside us as it tries to bully us into its negative thinking.

If the insidious arrogance of ego has succeeded in persuading us into its way of thinking, how do we turn things around?

It may take practice to stay in a higher, more positive vibration … but it’ll be worth it. The more we practice positive energies like wisdom, courage, and confidence the easier it will be to create a transformation.

It’s up to us whether we fall into the arrogance of ego, or reach for the higher frequencies.

Fortunately, we have unlimited do-overs! In every moment, we can choose again. We can go back to that moment where we screwed up… where we let ego persuade us to its way of thinking… and choose again. We can realize at any moment that we weren’t coming from higher level thinking… we weren’t engaged in the deeper journey of consciousness.

We can choose again, right in this moment. We can choose frequencies like compassion… appreciation… possibilities.

As we shift our energy into a higher frequency, we’ll see things turn around. We’ll start to see success coming TO us!

We just have to be oh-so-careful not to say “I’ll take it from here” and forget where it all came from! There’s no power at all in the arrogance of ego. So when success comes TO us, it’s a sign that we were in vibrational alignment with higher thought forms. That’s where alchemy happens … and that’s where we find our hidden power!
